the huntered housewife

our family life, our way

Standing on the outside, looking in.

on July 18, 2014

That would be referring to me standing on the outside of the construction fence, looking in at our semi built house. And next time we do get to be on the inside, we will be able to look out our windows! Yes, they were installed today. I’m getting a bit more excited now.

Today’s photos are below.

1. Daily pic from across the road.

3. Window on the western wall. Looking along the hallway.

4. Front and centre. From left to right is main bedroom, entrance and loungeroom, then Liam’s bedroom.

5. Front entrance to the house. On the back wall is an alcove with a large window, so you are looking straight through the house here.

6. Front left of house. Garage on left, then the windows are the pantry, ensuite, wardrobe, main bedroom.

7. Front right of house. Windows from right to left are Zac’s room, Liam’s room, loungeroom.

8. Back right of house (eastern half). From right to left we have the laundry sliding door, kitchen window, three panel sliding door off dining room, large window off family room, alcove window (in line with the front door).

9. Back left of house (western end). On the far left is part of the rumpus room sliding door, then the frosted bathroom window, toilet window, Megan’s bedroom, then you are back to the alcove window, then you can see the family room window and dining room sliding door.

And that’s where we are up to. As I said yesterday, the bricklaying is scheduled to start on Monday (weather permitting) so it will be very exciting to see the walls rise.

There’ll be more for me to share next week.
